Leon Holmes

I like to speak with my subjects while I paint them, they do not need to sit dead still, for this is not the nature of us. I am not trying to create a photograph, rather capture the feeling and energy of the person.
Every face tells a story and will reveal the personality or the way the person is feeling at that time. Capturing this with paint is a very enjoyable experience.
