Phil Barron

​

I am a visual artist focussing on painting in a representational style, from my studio in Fremantle. 

 

My work reflects my domestic and family life: portraits of friends and family, still-life and local landscapes. 

 

I relocated home to WA at the end of 2021, after 17 years living in Northern NSW, where I consolidated my art practice and exhibited regularly, including having a solo show at the Tweed Regional Gallery. 

 

Since returning to Perth, I have exhibited at Terrace Greenhouse Gallery South Fremantle in 2022 and 2023. My painting, Portrait of Julia, was a Lester Prize 2023 finalist.
