The one facet of my art are portraits be it in traditional or fantasy style. The fascination with faces, their expressions and that which is invisible - the character and emotions of the person is something I can not let go of.

I have been a persistent contributor to The Archibald and Doug Moran National Portrait Prize as well as The Black Swan Portrait Prize, now a Lester Prize of which I have been a 7-time finalist, won the People's Choice prize once and in 2017 was a winner. In 2020 portrait of Matt Ottley was exhibited at National Portrait Gallery in Canberra. In 2022 two of my portraits won 1st and 2nd prize at American Art Awards.
