Hungarian-born and science-trained, Rogers moved in WA in 1995 and realised a lifelong desire by retraining as an artist and curator. Her work spans intricate mixed media creations and large-scale public sculptures, showcasing a range of techniques from traditional craftsmanship to cutting-edge contemporary art. She is a highly sought after art teacher and curator.

Rogers is an award-winning artist. Her pieces are featured in prestigious international public and private collections. Notably, in 2010 she won high commendation in the Black Swan Prize for Portraiture, the Sculpture and Overall Award at the City of Joondalup Art Awards and the City of Wanneroo Open Acquisitive Award. In 2011 she was rewarded with Alcoa of Australia Corporate Acquisitive Award. She won the 2023 Cossack Art Award North West Flora and Fauna Prize in 2023, sponsored by Rio Tinto.

With an impressive portfolio, Judy has held twenty-four solo exhibitions in Australia, as well as solo shows in Budapest (2016) and St. Petersburg (2018). In 2024, she participated in the 21st AAmA International Art Exhibition in Italy and China. In 2019, she took part of the Synergia International Painting Festival at CETYS University in Baja California, Mexico. Judy also represented Australia in the 18th Asian Arts Biennale at Shilpakala Academy in Dhaka, Bangladesh in 2018. Additionally, she represented Australia at the G20 Art Agenda in Hangzhou, China, in 2016.


Her achievements include the ANZAC art commission by the City of Wanneroo in 2015 and the Inside Out Billboard commission by the City of Joondalup in 2017. Her botanical commission was installed at the City of Melville 2021.

She is represented by Gallows Gallery, Perth.
