Suzanne Lawson

Suzanne Lawson is a West Australian fine artist working in oils and predominately in portrait and figurative genres. Her work is characterised by contemporary painterly realism, with a particular emphasis on light and form. While Suzanne's passion for painting and creativity began at a young age, she ventured down various paths living and working overseas and raising a family before ultimately returning to her artistic roots later in life.

Today, she creates from her home studio in East Fremantle.

Suzanne has been selected as a semi-finalist in the Doug Moran National Portrait Prize, The Kennedy Art Prize, The National Emerging Art Prize, The Gallery One Smallacombe Portrait Prize and the Portia Geach Memorial Award.
