Since then Daniela has won the Vincent Prize, the Mosman Park Art Award, Peoples' Choice Prize at the Joondalup Invitation Art Award and was a finalist in the Black Swan Prize for Portraiture. 

Her work is held in private and state collections in Germany, China and Australia. Daniela challenges the limits of visual perceptions by significantly limiting the contrast in her work. The subtlety of the work requires the viewer´s persistence and contemplation until the motif gradually emerges.
